So I run chrome hoping to see if any of the mangas i read have had updated chapters, to find that chrome has disabled AMR automatically as a result of not being in the web store, and anything that is disabled in this fashions seems to be permanent and the user can not undo it/re-enable the extension in question even after resetting all settings to default configuration. This leads me to believe that short of AMR being added to the web store, this issue is not resolvable; hopefully i am wrong and there is, in fact, something i can do to get everything back on track.

I got around the issue by extracting the AllMangasReader_V1_5_4.crx file (I used 7zip) into a folder and then dragging said folder into chrome extension window. This installed the extension and it hasn't so far at least been disabled again.

That seems to have worked. Hopefully it stays that way. Manga reading without AMR is such a pain in the ass when you keep track of a decent amount of ongoing publications. Thank you very much for the suggestion.

This is a serious issue.

The easy solution in the meantime is to:

- Open chrome://extensions/
- Check "Developer mode"
- Click "Load unpacked extension"
- Search the folder "%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Extensions\nhjloagockgobfpopemejpgjjechcpfd\1.5.4_0" (just check the version number at the end)
- Click OK

However there are problems with this:

- Everytime you open Chrome it is going to show an annoying message
- You will have to check manually for AMR updates and install manually

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Hey AMR team, I have experience with Chrome extensions and stuff, so if you have any ideas on how to workaround this situation let me know, I will try to think on something as well.

@kamiknx is a legal issue. We link to some mirrors that supply licenced content and that makes us liable of demand.

Whenever I'm restarting chrome, I'll need to load extension each time manually... Is it because I'm using Chrome beta?

My chrome decided to block AMR completely. It displays a message saying that extensions that are not from Chrome webstore will be blocked and I cannot re-enable them.

Looks like Chrome has started a witch hunt:
