Hi, i've found the following solution from google forum. it works for me and list is still there in current Chrome.

This worked for me thanks to Asian7 back on page 34.

It survives a browser close and reload but i'm not sure if it survives a reboot yet.

SOLVED!!!

To re-enable already installed extensions
MENU> TOOLS> EXTENSIONS
Check the box for developer mode
make note of the extension ID which looks like ID: gighmmpiobklfepjocnamgkkbiglidom
Navigate to
C:\Users\USERNAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Extensions
replacing USERNAME with your username.
Copy the folder with that ID to the desktop.

Click Load unpacked extension
navigate to the extensions folder on the desktop, there will be a version number folder inside that, open the version number folder and click OK.

Click the Enable checkbox next to the extension.
Next to the "allow in incognito" click reload.

Your extension is working again.

As he said it may not survive reboot, but atleast you can access your list and save it, before migrating to any other browser.

Well, I did the .crx fix.

It worked for one session but did not survive a reboot. The extension is still enabled in chrome and everything seems to work.

But it does not add mangas to it's list and doesnt let chapters be displayed in one string of pages.

I'm now just trying Yandex, but I would really appreciate it if someone could upload it to the chrome store, in the hidden tactic.
And then post a link to it.

Goddamnit chrome, I dont care you disable potentially dangerous extensions, but dont make it so fucking hard to re-enable them.
This is ridiculous.

The Yandex switch went rather fluidly.

And AMR works like a charms now.

(only had to manually shut of all chrome processes to fully import all extensions and bookmarks, and my manga list is still gone, but that was to be expected)

Based on some Slashdot comments, I tried to switch from Chrome to (another Chromium-based) Torch browser. And I am here to report that as far as I can see, AMR works without a glitch.

I had the problem that AllMangasReader was disabled and couldn't be enabled today.

I installed the Dev-Version of Chrome. It worked like a charm, and didn't require much knowledge and i could imidiately use chrome and allMangasReader again (without losing bookmarks, logins, ... :))

here is the download link for the dev version

good luck :)

dev-version works well. No loss of data, all of my lists intact. :) It does require a restart.

If you don't mind the occasional bug, I think this is the simplest fix. :)

Has anyone tried the beta version?

Not sure why, but it seems that AMR is working on Opera
Version: 22.0.1471.50
System: Windows 7 64-bit (WoW64)

so
if you install AMR from internet uninstall it and use import option.
if you try something on chrome you may be deleted your list (really sorry :( ) so there may not be anything to import

I really hope it isn't second.

please tell us the result so that we can help if needed

Thanks to AMR(I write correct this time :) ) for everything

Thanks for the tip, but my list still wasn't imported. Thankfully I had a backup of my chrome-extension_nhjloagockgobfpopemejpgjjechcpfd_0.localstorage and chrome-extension_nhjloagockgobfpopemejpgjjechcpfd_0.localstorage-journal files and IndexedDB folder, that seem to contain manga list, so copying them into corresponding Yandex folders did the trick, and now I have maybe little outdated, but still my manga list.
Sorry for my poor english. :3

I was able to enable AMR in Chrome stable for those who do not want to go to Dev or Canary Chrome, the key is the whitelist it via enterprise policy in Windows. It isn't as scary as it sounds and pretty straight forward. Just read carefully, I have it tried it on my Windows 8 machines and works.

For Win7/8:

1) download Chrome group policy templates here: http://dl.google.com/dl/edgedl/chrome/p ... plates.zip
2) Copy [zip]\windows\admx\chrome.admx to c:\windows\policydefinitions
3) Copy [zip]\windows\admx[yourlanguage]\chrome.adml to c:\windows\policydefinitions[yourlanguage]\chrome.adml (not c:\windows[yourlanguage])
4) In Chrome, go to Settings -> Extensions
5) Check the Developer Mode checkbox at the top
6) Scroll down the list of disabled extensions and note the ID's of the extensions you want to enable. LogMeIn, for example, is ID: nhjloagockgobfpopemejpgjjechcpfd (AMR)
7) Click Start -> Run, and type gpedit.msc
8) Expand User Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Google -> Google Chrome -> Extensions
9) Double-click to open "Configure extension installation whitelist"
10) Select "Enabled", then click "Show..."
11) In the list, enter all the ID's for the extensions you noted in Step 6
12) Click OK and restart Chrome.

If you did it right, you can enable AMR and it stays enabled.
